mObile Ad Network Greystripe has found out some interesting things about mObile shoppers vs traditional shoppers. I won’t bore you with a summary of all the statistics, but I want to focus on two things.
1st – when it comes to mObile couponing: mObile shoppers demonstrate less price sensitivity than with traditional shoppers. 71% of mObile shoppers redeemed coupons while 94% of traditional shoppers redeemed coupons.
My take on this is that mObile shoppers do research for what they want, & need in a very fast & efficient way. They’re out & about trying to get things done with limited time, on a daily basis. So that is why they would be actually less price sensitive. They are more concerned with the end result, not how much money they saved. Saving money or getting a great deal is actually a bonus.
