BlackBerry 10 – A Closer Look

BlackBerry 10 is the next generation platform developed by RIM for its
smartphones and tablets. The platform is based on QNX which was
acquired by RIM in April 2010. BlackBerry 10 was due to release in
September 2012 but was later delayed till the first quarter of 2013.

Thorsten Heins, CEO of RIM says that BlackBerry 10 is all about the “flow”.
From the various leaked pics and videos, BlackBerry 10 looks promising
and will surely give serious competition to the iphone and android or
it may even surpass the competition.

BlackBerry 10 will launch with two devices in Q1 2013 with one full
touch-screen phone (codenamed L- series) and a touch-qwerty phone
(codenamed N-series) like the bold 9900. The first L-series device
will support a resolution of 1280 x 768 and the N-series will have the
traditional square screen with resolution of 720 x 720. The subsequent
