Apple marks Steve Jobs death anniversary

Steve Jobs — Apple computer co-founder, tech pioneer and revered revolutionary — died a year ago today, from complications due to cancer. The world paused to mourn for days when he died, a year later both the public and Apple have moved on but the anniversary of the death reminds us of the genius.

Jobs died October 5, 2011 at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer.

Tributes and remembrances are flooding the internet in memory of Apple CEO Steve Jobs who passed away one year ago today. Apple marked Jobs’s death with a memorial video on the company’s website. The two-minute long video has snippets of Jobs and the various products he introduced, from the early Apple computers to the iPhone.The video was accompanied by a message from Apple’s current CEO, Tim Cook, which read in part:
